Why Czech lessons online?

  • You can enjoy the comfort of your home or your office while studying.
  • You do not waste time travelling to the lesson.
  • The lessons are interactive – speaking, listening to authentic audio or songs, watching videos…

…AND ON TOP OF THAT…

  • …playing online board games or online escape games,
  • practise with interactive exercises,
  • and you can go over the material again when you have a free moment!

What do I need for online lessons?

  • reliable Internet connection,
  • a laptop or a PC with webcam, and a headset (or integrated speakers and microphone),
  • (of course you can use a tablet or your mobile phone, but the experience is simply better using a PC or a laptop),
  • a quiet place for studying,
  • Zoom, which you can install onto your computer, but the installation is not necessary – you can click on a link personalised for your lessons
  • Gmailu address so that we can make use of shared Google documents and also Google Classroom, where you will find material after each lesson

Textbook – yes or no?

  • It is not mandatory for the lessons themselves, but
  • if you want to have access to plenty of other exercises and self-study materials, you will need it
  • the textbook will be specified during the first lesson when we agree on your goals and objectives of the course

How can I enroll?

  • book a demo, complete the contact form, or submit the online placement test,
  • we will meet in the demo lesson where we will discuss your requirements and what I can offer and do to meet your requirements,
  • we will test the Zoom platform together,
  • I will assess your language level and we will have a mini lesson,
  • and last but not least, we will agree on our schedule.

I cannot attent the online individual lesson – what to do?

  • If you inform me at least 24 hours prior to the booked lesson, the lesson will be cancelled or re-scheduled free of charge,
  • if you inform me less than 24 hours prior to the booked time, the lesson is paid for in full BUT you will have self-study materials in your Google Classroom.

I cannot attend the online pair lesson – what to do?

  • Please inform me prior to the lesson.
  • The lesson will take place as individual lesson but it will be reocrded and you will have the recording available in your Google Classroom until the next lesson takes place.
